Sway Bar Quick Disconnects
March 28, 2009
The sway bar on a vehicle is designed to keep the vehicle from swaying or rolling during corners and street driving. It's a stabilizing bar. However, because the sway bar is connected to both sides of the front axle, this can hinder the flexibility and traction off road.
Therefore, I installed the JKS sway bar quick disconnects so I can have the sway bar connected while on paved roads and then quickly disconnected while I'm on a four wheeling trail in order to get the stability on the pavement and flexibility on the trails.
