Hanging Lake - Colorado
June 14, 2008
A small group of people from church and I went to hike up to Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The hike was about 1.5 miles long, but had a pretty good incline to it. Because I was out of shape and the beauty of the hike, I had to take several "photo opportunities."
Once we got to the top where the lake was, I was a bit surprised at the size of the lake. I'm used to lake-sized lakes found in Washington rather than the pond-sized ones here. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful place as there were three water falls and a nice place to spend lunch. Unfortunately, one of my ND filters slipped from my hand and cracked once it hit the rocks below.
