This marks the first winter camping trip I've done and I was excited to go on it, but a bit concerned I wouldn't stay warm enough. Despite the cold temperatures (~6F as a low) it was a trip well-worth it.

Michael and I left the Broomfield, CO area at 3:00am in order to hit the trailhead to Lake Isabelle by 4:00am. We aimed to reach the lake by sunrise (~5:30am) and it was a very empty park at that hour.

A small group of people from church and I went to hike up to Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The hike was about 1.5 miles long, but had a pretty good incline to it. Because I was out of shape and the beauty of the hike, I had to take several "photo opportunities."
