Split Bench Seat Conversion
October 2014 - June 6, 2015
One of the things I do not like about the XJ is the rear seat is a full bench. So you can either carry people or stuff, but not both. So, I went to the junkyard and grabbed a complete set of seats from a Grand Cherokee (ZJ) and made them fit in the XJ.

The front seats were the easy part as the XJ chair rails bolt right on - no modifications here.

The rear seat has been removed and it's time to put the folding seat backs in.

The rear seat backs have been installed and line up well with the cargo flooring. This is important because I still need to be able to sleep in the back.
