Bulging Falls
Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado
Every winter Zapata Falls freezes along with the creek it flows into thus making access to the falls accessible, but slippery. This year the falls froze more than usual creating quite an ice bulge. Photo taken in January 2010.
